Miriam Lea’s principal objectives as a dancer, is to continue to find different qualities of movement inside Argentine Tango, to share its classical and abstract movements, that expresses human feelings and emotions, thoughts.

Miriam Lea Professional Dancer

Miriam Lea, international dancer and choreographer, for more than 20 years, has worked at the highest levels of Argentine tango, both on stage and in social contexts, creating performances, education, and immersive cultural experiences across three continents. Miriam’s work (on and off the stage) is supported by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and I am a member of UNESCO CID and AMBCTA and a MSAB grant awardee. She has recently help start a nonprofit for Tango in the USA, GoTANGO!

Currently based out of Minneapolis St. Paul and Buenos Aires, Miriam offers Argentine tango performances, theater productions, private and group classes, bootcamps and workshops for hobbyists, professionals, newlyweds, locally ind internationally home online or in person at festivals and congresses.
